Jennifer Elizabeth Nuttall

is a graduate from The University of Manchester with a bachelor’s degree in English literature and creative writing. Jennifer returned to education as a mature student in order to persue her ambition of becoming a professional writer after spending a number of years as a stay-at-home mother.

During her time at university Jennifer proved herself to be an exceptionally talented writer, poet and essayist, and developed a particular interest in Medieval literature and the interpretation and translation of ancient Anglo-Saxon texts – eventually producing a complete translation of Archbishop Wulfstan’s 1000 year old ‘Sermo Lupi’ into modern English.

Since completing her bachelor’s degree Jennifer has moved into freelance writing but continues to work on her own poetry and fiction, and has been accepted to return to The University of Manchester in September to begin a master’s degree in creative writing
